DIED-
PRUSIA-Isaiah Prusia, the youngest son of Mrs. George Prusia was born in Van Buren township, Jackson county,Iowa, May 20, 1892, and after an illness of five months died at the home of his mother on North Dearborn street, Maquoketa, Saturday morning, Aug. 7, 1909, at 7:45, aged 17 years, 2 months and 11 days. His parents moved to Maquoketa in 1894, and he has lived here ever since. He was a loving son and brother and a kind and generous friend. He was loved by his relatives and innumerable friends for his jovial and unselfish disposition. In the school room he was earnest and ever ready to do the best he could. Last February he turned to God and joined the M. E. church of this city.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his mother, Mrs. George Prusia, six brothers, Geo. O. of Lake Zurich, Webster D. of Franklin, Nebraska, Azariah C. of Preston, Charles C. of Chicago, Benjamin F. of Davenport and Albert J. of Maquoketa, also three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Taplin of Mt. Vernon, South Dakota, Mrs. Emma Macumber and Mrs. Maude Prusia of Maquoketa.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, Monday morning at 8 o’clock, where a large company of friends gathered to pay last tributes to the departed. Burial was in Van Buren cemetery, Rev. A. T. Foster officiating.
