Mrs. Carrie Fitch Dies In Stockton

Mrs. Carrie Fitch of Stockton, Iowa was found dead in her home on Mother's Day by her granddaughter, Mrs. Vern Christiansen of Rock Island.
Last rites were conducted in a Rock Island funeral home Tuesday with committal services in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Her husband and one son, Wilmer, preceded her in death. Besides the granddaughter, two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Mitchell of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Maude Gahn of Clinton survive.
The Fitch family lived in Maquoketa and vicinity for many years.
