Rites Held Thursday at Andrew for Mrs. Minnie Kieffer

Mrs. Minnie Kieffer, 65, of Andrew, died Tuesday morning at St. Luke’s hospital, after a week’s illness. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Andrew Lutheran church, Rev. Bauer officiating.

Minnie Hildebrandt was born April 20, 1881, in Derengen, Germany, a daughter of Gotlieb and Margaret Cornelius Hildebrandt, and had been in this country for many years.

She was married to Jake Kieffer, Sept. 15, 1902. She is survived by two sons, Roy, of Welton; Lloyd, at home; and one daughter, Elsie Goettler, of Andrew; also one brother, William Hildebrandt, of Colburt, Wash., and one sister, Deanna Oberman, of Maquoketa.
