Obituary-

Alma Flathers Hurst was born near Iron Hills May 27, 1886, and spent her early life in that community, finishing her education in our high school. In September, 1906, she was united in marriage to Will J. Hurst, to which union were born two children, Sarah Elizabeth and Donald, who are left to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. For the past several months Mrs. Hurst had been in frail health, but hopes were never abandoned that the tide would turn and health might return again, but yesterday afternoon she suffered a stroke of paralysis which resulted in death about nine o’clock last evening.

Besides the heartbroken husband and little ones, she is survived by her father, Oliver Flathers, and one brother, Ashley of Butte, Montana, also an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Flathers of this city. Mrs. Hurst was an honored member of the Pythian Sisters, which order by her death share with the community in general loss of a noble woman. No funeral arrangements have been made at the time of going to press.
