John Daugherty Killed In Action

A telegram from Washington, D. C. announcing the death of John Daugherty, who was killed in action in France on October 4th, was received here Wednesday by his mother, Mrs. E. Daugherty. His name appeared among the wounded in the casualty list some time ago and had since then written home stating that he had recovered from a wound in his arm received from schrapnel while fighting on September 15th.-Bellevue Herald
