January 9, 1920James Burke, a former resident of Bernard, passed out of this life at the home of his son, Justin, on Grandview Avenue, Dubuque, Dec. 23, after a six months’ illness. Funeral services were held in the North Garry Owen church, week ago Friday. Interment in cemetery nearby. Rev. Coffee officiating. Mr. Burke is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Crimmons of Galena, Ill., and three sons, Wm., Justin and Herbert, all of Dubuque.
