Chester Carmaney
Chester A. Carmaney, 80, of Geneseo, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Hammond-Henry Hospital, Geneseo.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Wright Chapel, Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, Geneseo. The Rev. John Davis will officiate. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday at Wright Chapel. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.

Chester was born Feb. 7, 1924, in Preston, Iowa, son of Charles and Ruth Richards Carmaney. He had worked at International Harvester's Farmall Plant in Rock Island for more than 30 years, retiring in 1982.

He is survived by a sister, Marion Corvan, LaHabra, Calif., a niece and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
