Obituary.

Mrs. Stone died at the Poor Farm April 24, 1889, of old age. Deceased was a resident of this city for about 14 years and about two years ago went to the poor farm of her own motion as she was very old, without means or relatives. She was born Sept. 1, 1795, and was over 93 years old. She was a consistent and enthusiastic member of the M. E. Church for over 75 years. The remains were brought to this city Thursday for burial. The sermon was preached by Rev. Van Ness in the M. E. Church.
