Mrs. Cynthia Williams died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Joseph Hunter, in this city, Thursday, May 9, 1889, of pneumonia. Deceased was born in 1824 in Ontario County, N. Y. Her husband died in the army and she has lived at Cottonville, this county, ever since until about a year ago when she moved to this city, Mrs. H. Warner, of Sioux County, and Mrs. A. C. Johnson, of Buffalo, N. Y., sisters of the deceased were with her when she died. The funeral was held at the house yesterday forenoon, Rev. Van Ness officiated, and the remains were conveyed to Cottonville for interment.
