In Milford, Iowa, April 30, 1889, Laura A., wife of Dr. J. E. Green, aged 32 years, 5 months and 17 days. Mrs. Green was born in Maquoketa, November 13, 1856, the only daughter of Anson H. Wilson, one of the pioneers of Jackson County. Mrs. Green lived with her parents until her marriage, March 18, 1885, since which time, until her death, she has lived at Milford. Her mother died October 4, 1885, and besides her father and elder brother she leaves a husband and a little daughter, Ethel, and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. The remains were laid to rest in Mt. Hope cemetery, this city, Thursday, May 2.
