Jackson Sentinel, November 16, 1899.

Mrs. Beale, an old settler of Jackson County, died at her home southwest of Miles, Sunday morning. Deceased was the former widow of Mr. Duel, who was killed by running off the Sabula turnpike about 37 years ago. She was a highly respected citizen of this community and her death will be regretted. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. H. Doner, of this city. -Sabula Gazette
