DIED-

W. C. Simpson
-On the morning of Thursday, July 31st at about 10 o’clock, at his farm two miles north of Bellevue, departed this life, Mr. W. C. Simpson, an old and highly respected citizen of Jackson County. Mr. Simpson had been ill for a long time and for several days his death was expected. He leaves a wife and five children, with many relatives to mourn the loss. No man among us more highly respected had more local influence. He leaves a vacancy in our community, not easily filled. – Bellevue Leader
