Rev. Father Jean, the deposed priest and relentless foe of Bishop Hennessey, died at his home in Lyons last Saturday afternoon. It is said his death was caused by an overdose of medicine. Father Jean was a Frenchman and came to Lyons as a missionary in 1851.
