On Saturday morning last, the spirit of Mrs. Lorene A. Hanson winged its flight to the haven of rest beyond the grave-the home of the just. Death under all circumstances is sad; but this is particularly so, as it was the yielding up of one life that another might live-a sacrifice upon the altar of maternity. At 3 o’clock on Saturday morning she gave birth to a child, but instead of rallying and regaining strength, she slowly sank and died as above stated, probably from internal hemorrhage. She leaves a husband and four small children besides the infant babe, deprived of the holy love of wife and mother. -Delmar Journal
