Jackson Sentinel, August 7, 1873.

A death from cholera morbus is reported 4 ½ miles south of this city. A man by the name of George Griffin, a relative of Justin Spencer of this city, was taken sick Monday afternoon while in the harvest field, dying on Tuesday.

GRIFFIN-Near Delmar Junction, Clinton county, Iowa, Aug. 5th, George Griffin, in the 26th year of his age. His death was sudden and unexpected.
