Died.

Hubbard – At his home in Bellevue, Ia., Feby, 18, 1893, of typhoid pneumonia. Wm. Hubbard, aged 48 years. Deceased had been out of health several years, suffering from heart trouble. His recent severe illness however was of two weeks duration. Wm. Hubbard was born in Canada, moved thence to Vermont, enlisted in the service during the war, came to Maquoketa abut 23 years ago, was married to Miss Helen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. P. Hinman, who survives him. To them were born two children both of whom have passed away, the son being drowned to the Mississippi last summer. Wm. Hubbard moved to Bellevue some years ago and as Uncle Sam’s overland mail carrier became popular with the traveling public as a most affable, attentive and companionable man, kind and considerate and was liked by all who made his acquaintance. His funeral occurred at Bellevue Sunday with interment there.
