MOSES KITTLE, who for so many years lived on South Olive street, this city, died at the country home of Ferrol Reynolds April 1st, 1891, aged 87 years, and the funeral occurred the 3rd with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Moses Kittle was born January 13, 1804, in the state of New Jersey, was married October 26, 1825, to Miss Elenor Decker, who died April 13th, 1868. Eight children were born to them, six of whom are now living. Two living in Minnesota, two in Iowa, one in Nebraska, and one in Wisconsin. He has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Ferrol Reynolds, for seven years, where he died April 1st, 1891, his age being 87 years, 2 months and 10 days. He came to Iowa 1854, has been a member of the Methodist church for over fifty years, in which faith he died. His remains were laid to rest in Mt. Hope cemetery April 3rd. Rest in peace.
