DIED

LOCKWOOD-At the residence of her son Hiram Lockwood, Mrs. Martha Lockwood, aged 88 years, 6 months, and 8 days.

She was born in Washington, New York. She moved to this state in 1850, where she remained until the day of her death. She was highly respected and beloved by all who knew her. A large concourse of of people attended her funeral, which was held at the Union Church, conducted by the Rev. J. T. Spry.
