Matt Gannon-

Last Saturday forenoon the remains of Matt Gannon were interred in the Catholic burying ground. The funeral procession was quite lengthy and would have been more so only for the extremely cold weather. About two hundred of the packing house employees marched in line. The Iowa Packing Co. paid all funeral expenses and allowed Mrs. Gannon the salary her deceased husband would have received for the month of January.
