OHJE-

Nick Ohje, an old resident of this locality, died very suddenly at his home a mile and a half west of this place last Sunday morning. On Saturday he chopped wood till between three and four o’clock in the afternoon, when he complained of not feeling well and went to the house, going to bed early in the evening as usual. About midnight he got up and ate a light lunch, and as he went back to bed said one of his arms felt numb and useless. In the morning at six o’clock his brother Jerry, who slept with him awoke and found him a corpse, death having resulted some time before, as the body was cold and rigid. It is presumed that death was caused by a stroke of paralysis. Nick Ohje was born in Germany, and at the time of his death was aged 50 years, 9 months and three days.
