Jacob Berry, one of the city’s most respected and esteemed citizens, passed away quietly at his home here Friday. Mr. Berry had been ill for some time and towards the last had been failing rapidly. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, four daughters, two sons and three brothers. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the M. E. church, Rev. Calkings officiating. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.
