A Young Life EndedAgain death's angel has entered a home and claimed the young mother, Mrs. Iryl L. Butters, who answered the summons of her Master, Thursday evening, Feb. 5th, 1920.
Florence Liston Butters was born at Joinerville, Oct. 15, 1894 and at the time of her death was 25 years, 3 months and 20 days old. She had been sick only a few days with heart trouble and passed away suddenly Thursday evening.
She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, and two children, Theodore, age 7 and Geraldine, age 4 years; also her mother, Mrs. Amelia Doty and 4 brothers, Roy, Gerry, Myron and Louie, all of Maquoketa, and 2 aunts, Mrs. Cartie of Davenport, Mrs. Julia Aylers and George Prindle of Maquoketa. One infant child preceded her in death 3 years ago.
Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. John Watterson of the F. M. church officiating. Interment took place at Mt. Hope cemetery.
