Mrs. F. C. Schroeder of Preston, one of that city’s most highly esteemed young women, passed away last Wednesday morning at her home there. For five years she was assistant cashier of the Preston Savings bank, severing her connection with that institution shortly before her marriage to Fred Schroeder, one of Preston’s finest young business men. Her passing causes a pall of gloom to fall over the city and community. She will be remembered by many friends here as Miss Adala Wendt.
