BALDWIN.

Climena M. Widel was born at Canton, Iowa, Feb. 3, 1851, and passed away at the home of her son, Charles Harding, Jan. 22, 1918, aged 66 years, 11 months and 19 days.

She was united in marriage to James P. Harding in 1868, who preceded her in death 17 years ago, to which union were born seven children, three having passed away in infancy. The remaining four are George, Etta, Ed. and Charles, all of whom were with her at the time of her death.

Mrs. Harding was always found to be a kind and affectionate mother, a good neighbor and she has been a member of the M. E. church of this place for many years. Besides the relatives she leaves a host of friends to mourn her loss.

Broken is the bond, but firm remains the memory of all that knew her.
Take them, O death; and bear away what ever thou can’st call thine own.
Thine image, stamped upon this clay.
Doth give thee that, but that alone.
Take them, O Grave; and let them lie.
Folded upon they narrow shelves as garments by the soul laid by, and precious only to ourselves.
Take them, O Great Eternity.
Our little life is but a gust that bends the branches of they tree, and trails its blossoms in the dust.
