Cassius Brewster Dies Suddenly Wednesday

Cassius Brewster, local resident died suddenly at 4:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon following a brief illness.

He had been in failing health for some time but was around town as usual a few days before his death. He and his father Alonzo Brewster having been making their home in the Town Clock building and it was while he was down stairs getting a pail of water that he was taken very ill. A physician was summoned but he had passed away before the physician arrived.

Mr. Brewster was born July 15, 1873 in Iowa, and for many years had lived in this community. He was unmarried.

Besides the aged father he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edith Barr of Clinton and Mrs. Nellie McCumber of Independence Mo. Funeral arrangements are not completed as they are waiting word from the daughter in Missouri.
