Miss Elizabeth Griffin, a lady 67 years of age, died at Green Island last Tuesday morning, July 18, of nervous debility and typhoid fever. Her home was at Ellicott City, Maryland, and she was summoned to Green Island about two months ago by the illness of her friend, the late Mrs. Hoy. While visiting the family of deceased she was taken suddenly ill Sunday morning, July 9th, and sank rapidly, death finally relieving her of her sufferings.
