December 7, 1926Obituary – Mrs. Belle Baker
Mrs. Belle Baker, a long time resident of Jackson county, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. D. Spurl, Sunday, Dec. 5. Her death terminated a lingering illness of heart trouble. Mrs. Baker was born in Rockford, Ill., May 23, 1868, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Long, old time residents of Perry township.
Surviving are three children, Allison Keeney of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Frank Klema of St. Cloud, Minn., and Mrs. Arch Woodyard of Des Moines, Iowa. Two sisters, Mrs. John Keeney of Andrew, Mrs. W. D. Spurl of Maquoketa and one brother, Wesley Long.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning at the Methodist church in Andrew, Rev. John. F. Daake officiating.
