Mrs. Martha Welch, aged 24 years and the wife of Enoch Welch, died of consumption at her home north of Hurstville Sunday, Oct. 15. The funeral occurred at the Esgate school house today, conducted by Rev. Jno. W. Said and the remains interred in the Esgate cemetery.
