PRIVATE SERVICES HELD

Private funeral services were conducted by the Rev. S. H. Sandrock last Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Harold Bollen of near Maquoketa, who died at Iowa City at 3 a.m. Sunday morning after a few days illness with scarlet fever.

Mrs. Bollen, the former Miss Neirma Schurbon, was a daughter of Henry Schurbon and was born July 9, 1915. She grew to young womanhood in Bellevue, making her home with her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Schurbon. She is a graduate of the Bellevue high school and was united in marriage with Harold Bollen, Sept. 13, 1940, and they made their home on a farm near Maquoketa.
