Former Maquoketa Lady Called

Mrs. Ella T. Parady passed away Monday, July 21st, at 7:10 p.m. at the home of her son, F. E. Parady at 716 N. street, Sacramento, Calif., and was laid to rest Wednesday, July 23, at 2 p .m. in the Odd Fellows cemetery with the Presbyterian services.

Deceased was a member of the Eastern Star lodge, Neomi Chapter.

Ella Burleson Parady, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Burleson, was born at Buckhorn, Iowa, November 10, 1850, and was 68 years, 8 months and 11 days old at the time of her death. For the past six months deceased had been an invalid, having suffered a second stroke of paralysis, and during all this time was a patient sufferer at the home of her son, F. E. Parady.

She is survived by her son, grandson, Bruce Parady, brothers, C. M. Burleson of Oakland, Calif., M. C. Burleson of Illinois and F. D. Burleson of Sacramento, her husband, Albert Parady, passing away about six years ago at Sacramento.
