Obituary

Mrs. E. Wickers was born in Ohio, June 27, 1850 and when a small child went to Indiana with her parents and at the age of 14 years came to Iowa, where she since resided.

United in marriage to M. J. Flynn. 10 children were born to this union, 7 of which survive, Mrs. Ida Bradley of near Maquoketa, Mrs. Mary Cotton of this city, Mrs. Agnes Brown and A. F. of California, Mrs. Carrie Lane of Cheyenne, Wyo., Mrs. Edith Overbeck of Ohio, Dennis of Esgate and Oscar of Maquoketa. Mr. Flynn died many years ago and later deceased was married to E. Wickers who passed away about 10 years ago.

Deceased was a life long member of the M. E. church.

The funeral was held at the late home Monday afternoon, Rev. J. J. Kidder conducting the services. Burial was in the Esgate cemetery.
