Milton Bowling Dies Saturday At Home In Iron Hill
Milton S. Bowling, 87, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Dutton, near Iron Hill Saturday afternoon.
Carson-Balster funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the East Iron Hill Church with Rev. H. D. Green officiating. Interment was made in the Iron Hill cemetery.
Milton S. Bowling was born at Iron Hill on January 9, 1854, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bowling. He was united in marriage to Clara Johnson, who preceded him in death about a year ago.
Surviving besides the daughter, Mrs. Dutton, is a son, I. M. Bowling of Fulton; also two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Willison and Miss Martha Bowling of Iron Hill.
A brother, Horace Bowling and two sisters, Samantha and Elizabeth also preceded him in death.
