Mrs. Knapp Passes Away

The many local friends of Mrs. Arthur Knapp of Chicago were grieved to hear of her death Friday at the hospital after a ten weeks illness of a paralytic stroke.

Anna Celesta Neff was the daughter of the late John and Parthena Neff. She was born and raised in LaMotte, but for several years resided in Chicago. Her husband passed away in Philadelphia a few years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Myrta Hopkins of Chicago; two sons, Gayle of Red Oak, Michigan and Myrl of Philadelphia; also five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ap. P. Porter of Los Angeles. Her funeral was held in Chicago on Monday afternoon. Friends from here were unable to attend the funeral.
