SUDDEN DEATH – REV MR. WHEELER., Catholic Priest of Bellevue, left that place Monday morning of last week in a buggy, accompanied by a young man, to go to Galena for materials to finish his church. Finding they could not get across the river, they went to Dubuque. The young man stopped at one of the hotels, called for lodgings, and stated that he had a sick man in the buggy that he could not get out. Help was obtained and MR. WHEELER carried into the house, and found to be dead. The young man said Mr. W. had been leaning heavily against him for the last three quarters of an hour, and it was supposed he must have died when he first leaned over. The physicians called pronounced the cause of his death to be disease of the heart. We learn the particulars from the Dubuque Times.
