OBITUARY

DIED, at her residence, in Van Buren, on the 30th day of April last, Esther C., wife of R. B. Wykoff, aged 41 years.
The deceased was among the first settlers of this county, having emigrated from the State of Michigan with her husband here in the summer of 1838, and hence has gone through with all the hardships incident to the settling of a new country; and all who knew her will deeply feel her loss; but none so much as her husband and children, of which latter she has left seven, who will deeply feel the loss of a kind, gentle and indulgent mother.
