TAUBMAN-At 4 o'clock this morning, Mrs. Maloa Taubman, wife of Mr. Henry Taubman, merchant in this city, passed to the other shore. Mrs. Taubman was aged forty years, six months and eighteen days.
Her disease was consumption, and though all knew the end was not far off, yet the final severing of the cord was a sudden shock. She was a daughter of Mr. William Current, an old settler in Iowa, and resident of this city for thirty-five years.
She leaves a husband and six children to mourn a loss which cannot be calculated. Mrs. Taubman was universally respected, and a large circle of friends will miss her-miss her as one of the brightest and best gone from their midst.
The funeral services will be held at the house Saturday at 1 o'clock p.m.
