DIED.

GISH -At her home in Lost Nation, August 18, 1895, at 8 o’clock p.m., Mrs. David Gish. The deceased was born in Lancaster county, Penn., Nov. 13, 1816, and was married to David Gish in 1831, and with her husband moved to Iowa in 1854 and settled near Lost Nation. Five daughters and six sons were born to this union, of which one daughter and four sons are still living who, with the aged husband and father gather to mourn her death. The funeral services were held at the Union church south of this city. Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Knupp officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Union cemetery.
