DIED

DAVIS-Maquoketa, October 25, 1872, Dr. J. E. Davis, aged 55 years, 8 months, and 19 days. He was a native of Canada West, a good man, a good physician, a kind father, and by this sudden death loose a valuable member of society, and motherless children made orphans. May God be their father.

RORK-Maquoketa, November 1, 1872, Edwin W. Rork, aged 22 years, 7 months. Deceased was the son of William and Martha Rork, and they miss him, for he was a kind, obedient son. “Death loves a shining mark.”

FELL-Maquoketa, October 24, 1872, Mrs. Amanda Fell, wife of John E. Fell, aged 31 years and 29 days. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her loss.
