DIED

CLEGG-In this city, the 10th inst., at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. J. C. Clark, after a brief illness, Mrs. Julia Clegg, aged 65 years.

The deceased had not long been a resident of our community, but long enough to establish the reputation among those who knew her, that her religion was not fitful and spasmodic, but firm and stable.

The first Sabbath in this New Year, she identified herself with the Congregational Church of this place and the following Sabbath we were called to follow her mortal remains to the cold and silent tomb.

Her sickness was short, but she was ready to go to her master’s bidding, and on angel wings she was borne upward to the praises of God.
