Snyder-In this place Friday morning, July 19th, 1872, Rebecca Isabella, wife of Mr. Thomas Snyder, of consumption, aged thirty-five years, eight months, and four days.

Mrs. Snyder was a native of Perry County, Ohio, and from Jackson County, Iowa to California. She was an amiable wife and an affectionate mother, and died lamented by a large circle of friends.(Ventura Signal, Santa Barbara County, California.)
