Mrs. Jos. Gonner Dies; Burial At Springbrook

Springbrook, Jan. 26 – Mrs. Joseph Gonner, 40, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18 in Bellevue Memorial hospital after a five day illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning, Jan 20, in SS. Peter and Paul’s church, with the Rev. John H. Mayer, pastor, celebrant of the requiem mass. Burial was made in the Springbrook cemetery.

Florence Jaynes, daughter of Jesse and Louise Jaynes was born June 1, 1908 near Springbrook. She was married Feb. 12, 1927, to Joseph Gonner in SS. Peter and Paul church here. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary society and of the National Council of Catholic Women.

Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Doris and LaVonne at home; two brothers, Clarence Jaynes, Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Alfred, Waukeegan, Ill., and her parents of Springbrook. One sister preceded her in death.
