DIED.

JENKINS – At his home on the Penrose farm 5 miles southeast of this city, June 21, 1894, Douglas Jenkins, aged 33 years, 1 month and 17 days, of consumption.

Deceased was a son of Mrs. M. J. Jenkins of the city and was married some year ago to a daughter of Sam’l Penrose who, with a bright little 4-year-old girl, survives a beloved husband and father. Deceased was a young man of industry, good habits, and possessed qualities that made him many friends. The funeral took place from the house Saturday morning. Rev. F. M. Archer officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Mt. Hope cemetery.
