Mrs. Mary Ragan of Garryowen died on the 10th inst., aged 70 years. She had resided in this county 55 years. Her husband died a month ago
Wm. Bentley died at his home near this city on the 12th inst. Aged 81 years. He was an early settler of the county, and his funeral was attended by three generations of his descendants.
George Benjamin, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Whitfield of this city, died on the 11th inst.
Miss Bertha M. Blake of this city died on the 16th inst., of typhoid fever, aged 19 years.
LeRoy, 15-year-old son of Zara Patterson, of Maquoketa Township, died on the 17th inst., of diphtheria.
Henry Trede, who was manager of the flying dry goods store which alighted in this city for a short time last winter, died in Davenport of the 11th inst.
Mrs. Emeline Strain of Fulton died on the 16th inst.
