Page 472-Rev. D. Whitemore died in Jackson county in 1846, but we have no further particulars of his life.
Page 477-Died in 1863, Deacon C. W. Forbes of the Van Buren Church, Jackson county, died in camp near Vicksburg.
Page 488-In 1875 the church at Maquoketa lamented the removal by death of the beloved wife of their pastor, Rev. N. F. Hoyt.
