Former Pastor’s Death Occurs in Fla.

Friends here received word last week of the death of Rev. L. L. Lockard, which occurred Tuesday, April 2, in Florida.

Rev. Lockard was formerly a pastor of the M. E. church here and since his retirement from the ministry, due to his age and failing health, he had made his home in Anamosa but spent the winters in Florida. His body will be taken to Anamosa for burial but further detail has not been received. He is survived by his wife.
