Patrick Prandy, aged 76, a former well-known resident of Bellevue, passed away at the Soldier’s Home at Marshalltown, last Thursday, very unexpectedly. He had been ailing since the death of his wife eight months ago. The body was brought to Bellevue for interment and the funeral took place Sunday afternoon from the Presbyterian church, Rev. F. W. Weatherwax officiating. The pall bearers were members of the Grand Army, namely: Mose Bean, Ell Nelson, J. F. Snyder, Samuel Sanderson, Chas. Kurth, Wm. Harrison. Interment was in the Presbyterian cemetery.
