SABULA — Alan F. Kindrick, 78, of Sabula, died Monday at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

He was born July 2, 1929, in Pasadena, Calif.

He received a degree in engineering from California State Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo.

He was a United States Army veteran.

He was a member of a private radio flying club in Teeds Grove.

He was a plant engineer and retired after many years. He also was employed with Ace Hardware, Savanna, Ill.

Survivors include one daughter, Kay (Robert) Merino of Sabula; three grandchildren; and one sister, Betty (Ernie) Koch of Monrovia, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
