Funeral Services Held Monday for Albert H. Siegel

ANDREW – Albert H. Siegel, 55, passed away at the City Memorial hospital, Maquoketa, Friday, (Sept. 5, 1941), afternoon from injuries received when a horse fell on him at his farm home west of here, last week.

Mr. Siegel was born near Andrew Oct. 30, 1885. In 1911 on Dec. 5, he was united in marriage to Miss Emma Felderman of St. Donatus. He was a member of Salem Lutheran church.

Those left to mourn his death, are his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Vera Rohlf and Mrs. Bonita Bertsch; his mother, Mrs. Lena Siegel; three brothers, Edward, Raymond and George; five sisters, Mrs. William Gnade, Mrs. Henry Flagel, Mrs. Harry Gibson, all of Andrew; Misses Roserea and Lena Siegel of Davenport. His father and one sister, Mrs. John Schenk, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at two o’clock in the First Lutheran church in Maquoketa, Rev. H. A. Doers, pastor of the Andrew Lutheren church, officiating. Burial was in the Andrew cemetery.
