TABOR. Nancy Loanza Cooley was born in Licking county; Ohio, Nov. 6th, 1832; came to Cedar county in the spring of 1842. The following fall removed to Jackson county, Iowa, where the rest of her life was spent with the exception of one year spent in Jones county. She was married to A. J. Tabor Oct 10th, 1851 who preceded her Jan. 10, 1891. Five children were born of this union two of whom, John C. and Augusta M.Heie preceded her in 1866 and 1887, respectively. Three, Mrs. H. S. Hunter of Plainfield, Iowa, George W. of Baldwin, and Mrs. John Lundy of Zearing, Iowa, together with ten grandchildren survive her. She was a devoted member of the M.E. church and was a faithful attendant as long as her health would permit. Her life was one of devotion to her family and friends of which she had many. She was buried from the M. E. church, Baldwin, Iowa, Wednesday, Nov. 14th, Rev. Mr. Davis officiating. Interment in the Pence cemetery.
