EMMA E TAFT, 92, SERVICES HELD

Emma E. Taft, wife fo George W. Taft, was born Sept. 7, 1859, in Beaver Dam, Wis. Her maiden name was Emma Knorr.
She was married Feb. 17, 1892, to George W.Taft, at Clinton, Iowa. She died Jan. 8, 1952. Funeral services were held in Maquoketa with burial in Mt. Hope cemetery.
One daughter, Mrs. Bernice Maxwell, of Council Bluffs, survives, in addition to several nephews, including Arthur Knorr and Cliff Knorr of Maquoketa. Other surviving relatives live at Beaver Dam, Wis.
Relatives from away attending the funeral in addition to Mrs. Maxwell, were Mr. and Mrs.
A. Zellmar and son Keith and Mrs. Albert Knorr of Deaver Dam.
